Diversity and Inclusion at Imagr

Imagr has a strong focus on creating a sense of belonging for all members of their team.

How that translates, is that they're not only focused on being inclusive and opening the doors of Imagr wide, but also creating a safe, welcoming space where everyone can feel “at home” and like they truly belong.

They acknowledge Diversity and Inclusion will always will be a work in progress, however some of the examples of what they are doing now include:

  • Working with external D&I consultants like Ally Skills to help build inclusive teams and processes.
  • Lunch & learns, to introduce our team to concepts like inclusive language.
  • A wider strategy, mission statement and policy around Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging at Imagr.
  • Reviewing the way internal teams bond, especially those who are remote, so that they feel connected beyond the day-to-day of work.
  • They have recently completed an engagement survey, with a focus on Psychological Safety, Diversity, and Team Culture, allowing them to see the progress of efforts over time.
  • Establishing and reviewing the employee experience HQ, the Osaka and Amsterdam offices, to ensure all cultural nuances and the experience is catered accordingly.
  • They are building a training module for people leaders, to enhance their mentoring and coaching capabilities, ensuring that all of our team members have access to our L&D allowance, mentorship, and career development.
  • And finally, reviewing their recruitment processes, language, training interviewers on bias and building in their newly formed values.
