Getting to know Sam
What did you dream of becoming when you were younger?
I wanted to be an accountant or economist. I always wanted to understand how the world worked, and as a kid I was curious about finance as it seemed like money was an important part of how the world operated. After I saved up and bought my own computer, I found software, which taught me that I enjoy building things a lot more!
What would you do with your time if money was of no consequence?
As mentioned above, I really enjoy building things. Additionally given my childhood interest in finance, I feel like I have found a great blend of my interests at this stage. I would keep things the way they are.
Perhaps one day I'll focus more on dev tools and mentoring developers.
How would you employees describe you as a boss?
I didn’t want to guess this one, so I asked Nick in the team and this is what he said:
“Sam is best described with these words: extremely motivated, supportive, open minded, down to earth.”
