The market opportunity in front of PredictHQ is huge. Almost every business is impacted by events and needs to factor them into planning. We currently work with leading transport providers like Uber, with quick serve retail and delivery companies like Domino's, as well as most of the world's largest accommodation providers. Our team has grown to 80 team members strong in Auckland and San Francisco, and we've raised $33 million to date.

We’re looking for a passionate, self-motivated, keen, and skilled Senior Front End Developer to join us. You’ll work directly within a team of exceptionally talented individuals responsible for delivering beautifully designed, and high-performing platforms

A Senior Front End Developer here at PredictHQ will get to:

  • Work in both the design and implementation of maintainable HTML, CSS, and Javascript
  • Take complex ideas and build interfaces that are easy to understand, look beautiful, and are performant
  • Work with a cross-functional team to identify, implement and deploy new features and products
  • Help create a shared component library to create elegant, efficient, and consistent UIs
  • Help upskill and mentor other team members

Must-haves:

  • 4 years experience as a Front End Engineer
  • Ability to understand business rules and apply them to code
  • Strong testing and debugging skills
  • Experience in building modular stateful UI’s using modern frameworks (e.g., Vue.js, React, or Angular).
  • Familiarity working with a modern well-architected toolset, leading CI/CD processes, and a willingness to innovate

Nice-to-haves:

  • Experience with Vue.js (this is our existing framework of choice)
  • Experience with Storybook (or similar)
  • Design or UX experience

Requirements

We’re looking for a passionate, self-motivated, keen, and skilled Front End Developer to join us. It's a Remote Opportunity in New Zealand or works from our office in Auckland - you can live anywhere in New Zealand with access to solid WIFI, and work remotely from the comfort of your home office. Candidates will need to reside in New Zealand with full-working rights.

You’ll work directly within a team of exceptionally talented individuals responsible for delivering beautifully designed, and high-performing platforms. You must be open and able to travel to Auckland 3-4 times per year to meet your teammates in person. We hold an annual all-company meeting/celebration every year, and for you to meet up with our teams for a week once or twice per year.
