Matchstiq's take on Sharesies

Sharesies' vision is to give someone with $5 and someone with $5 million the same investment opportunities.

The market opportunity ahead for Sharesies

Over 500,000 people are using Sharesies in Aotearoa and Australia, and there's room for us to grow and reach even more investors. We’re continuing to break down the barriers to investing, as we create new ways to help people develop their wealth.

Now's a great time to join us and help shape our products and the ways we empower our investors.

Why Sharesies is a great place to work

We have a unique culture of talented people brought together by shared values and sense of purpose. It's about making a real difference in how people manage their money and develop their wealth.

Many people can struggle to learn or even talk about their personal finances; so by making these topics accessible and easy to understand, we can have a huge impact on our wider communities.

Sharesies is a passionate member of the global B Corp community using business as a force for good. We're also carbon-neutral, and take our sustainability commitments seriously.

We're always looking to add to our people's choices in the well-being space. We recently partnered up with Clearhead to help support our people with a range of tools, but we also offer a personal touch with trained mental health first responders, a social club, heaps of online-friendly events and during Covid, lots of loving touches and care packages for people stuck at home.

We do our best to offer robust employee benefits and to show our appreciation for all our people's contributions to our success, everyone in the company gets access to employee share options.

We just introduced one day of volunteer leave per year for all staff at Sharesies. This works in the same way as any other type of leave, like annual leave or sick leave. Now, every year, staff at Sharesies get to spend a day volunteering for a cause that they care about. It’s a great reason to get whole teams out of the office (or our houses!) and together in our local communities.

We’re building a diverse and caring team in Aotearoa. Our work culture is about flexibility, curiosity, openness to new things, but it's also about caring for each other and having some fun. We work hard, enjoy a good laugh, and have each other’s backs. If that sounds like you, check out the jobs we’ve got on offer!
