Founded in 2015 by Jan Pacas, Colin Mierowsky, Daniel Cohen, and Saul Kaplan, with James Windon joining in 2017, Flare was created to modernise HR systems while improving financial outcomes for employees.

The platform offers digital onboarding, salary packaging, superannuation management, novated car leasing, and benefits like retail discount, all integrated into existing payroll and HRIS tools.
