Assistant Accountant
As Assistant Accountant you will be reporting directly to the Finance Manager. This is a key role in the company, and you will have the opportunity to work across all aspects of the finance function.
Your duties will cover everything from invoicing and payables to month end, including:
Accounts Payable and Receivable.
Preparing journal entries and accruals.
Monthly and year-end closings through to bank reconciliations.Fixed asset maintenance.
General ledger reconciliations.
Reporting & analysis
Preparation of GST and other tax returns
Payroll assistance.
Liaising with and providing support to the sales and marketing teams.
Providing office support and ad-hoc duties as required
