    Founded in a garage in 2017, Datch now has offices in the UK, US, and New Zealand. We’re growing rapidly with backing from well-known investors such as Blue Bear Capital, Boeing HorizonX, Acceleprise, and Plug and Play Ventures, and we’re building an exciting product with deep engineering and domain expertise in New Zealand and the US.

    About the role (what you’ll do):

    As a member of an enthusiastic, agile software delivery team, you will be delivering across our full tech stack, responsible for the design and build of core features of the Datch voice visual experience for our users. You’ll be involved in the design at an architectural level and help guide the direction of the technical infrastructure of the company. The role isn’t static: we’re a growing and agile startup, so you’ll have the ability to choose your path within the company and grow with us.

     

    Must-haves:

    • In-depth experience across the full stack of a modern software application
    • Strong written and oral communication and collaboration skills
    • Strong coding, testing and debugging skills
    • An understanding of, or familiarity with asynchronous programming (e.g. rxjs)
    • A minimum of 5yrs full-time experience in a Software Development role 
    • Proven experience with Typescript, Nodejs and a cross platform mobile application framework (ideally Angular/Ionic)
    • Experience or familiarity with Docker 
    • Ability to work remotely from time to time 
    • Ability to travel on occasion 

     

    Nice-to-haves:

    • An interest in and understanding of the TDD and BDD paradigms
    • An interest in the industrial world and an understanding of the applied use cases

    Business Development Manager

    Overview of the Role

    Reports to: Head of Sales (to be appointed) or CEO.
    Hours of work: Full-time.

    Ambit is hiring! We are looking for a sales hunter to join our growing team.  Do you have experience in B2B solution sales, a great professional network of trusted connections, and the drive to make it happen?  Then you should read on.

    We are looking for an experienced B2B salesperson with at least 5 years of business development experience, a proven track record of success, a good understanding of the sales process, and able to contribute with new ideas on how we can continue our growth success.

    Have you worked with or within large retail, utilities, or financial services industries?  That’s our target market and experience with any of these industries is a plus. You don’t need to have software experience to be a great fit for this role.

    We feed you leads through our marketing activities, events, and referrals from existing customers.  But if finding your own leads sounds daunting, then this may not be the role for you.

     

    What you'll be doing

    • Your opportunities will come from a combination of marketing leads, your own lead generation activities, and leads generated from events and Ambit’s profile.
    • You will be expected to manage the full sales cycle, from qualifying through to contract signing and handing over to our amazing Customer Success Team.
    • You’ll know the sales process like the back of your hand, and be able to apply good discipline and process to ensure your success.
    • Your B2B experience has been at a senior leader/GM/C-Suite level and you know how to navigate your way around large organisations.

    Senior Software Engineer

    This is an exciting time for a senior software engineer to join the team at Well Revolution. Our current app was released during the first lockdown to help people when they couldn’t leave their homes. Now it’s time to double-down on the user experience and take a more design-led approach when building our products. We want our product to continually evolve with our users complex health needs so we are seen as their digital health care partner that can help with every step along the way.

    We have built a number of features including the ability to consult with a doctor, get a prescription issued and delivered to your home and the ability to get a sick note issued without getting out of bed. We’re really just getting started and we want to make sure the experience delivered to our members is seamless.

    As well as building new features, you will also be working with the team to redefine some of our existing features based on member feedback.

    You will

    • Be involved in feature scoping and technical planning
