    Your Role 

    Due to the continued growth and success of our APAC market, we are seeking an Account Executive to join our Auckland based team. Reporting into the Regional Head of Sales, you will own and cultivate your own sales territory and sell Re-Leased products and services to prospective clients within the commercial real estate industry.

    • Proven track record in closing new business over a sustained period while hitting sales targets 
    • Experience using a consultative, solution based sales methodology

    Senior UI Engineer

    The Role

    We're on the lookout for an amazing UI engineer to join Osho’s small but mighty (and fast-growing) digital software team. You will work with team members of all disciplines to build quick experiments and product features, creating applications across Osho’s digital product suite.

    This job is for you if you are passionate about contributing to all phases of software development - including ideation, prototyping, design, and implementation - and helping us set up our UI Engineering/Frontend practice. We’re a collaborative bunch, so part of your role will be supporting your fellow engineers through feedback, code reviews, and advancement of internal tools and processes.

    Some of the things that you might be involved in include:

    • Working directly with designers, product managers, software and hardware engineers to build and ship full prototype experiments and digital products from scratch
    • Building new tools and services that make it fast, safe, and easy for future engineers to leverage our web frameworks
    • Contributing to all phases of software development, from ideation through to implementation

    About You

    • Have 5+ years of practical experience in Front End Web Development
    • Are experienced with modern JavaScript coding (React, Vue.js, Node.js), Typescript, continuous delivery, automated testing, debugging and automation

    • Have strong expertise in CSS and HTML, including current best practices

    Digital Marketing Executive

    About the role

    We've got an exciting opportunity for a Digital Marketing Executive to join the best design & technology studio in the country.

    Working with the Marketing Manager and Content Designer, with oversight from the Chief Customer Officer, this role will be supported to take the day to day lead in digital marketing BAU - helping RUSH maintain and grow its brand online, and also research and ideate creative new ways to reach our next ideal customer or team member.

    About you

    You’ll be a keen marketer driven by a desire to be part of a company that puts people first and believes in its purpose to better serve humankind. You’re passionate about technology, design and popular culture, and have your finger on the pulse of current events and digital trends.

    With 2-3 years experience in marketing or a similar agency environment, you’ve got a generalist knowledge of marketing, with a strength in digital marketing and content coordination across multiple digital channels such as social media, Google Ads, email marketing and SEO/SEM.

    Specific skills required:

    • Critical and creative thinking, evidenced in your work history.

    • Being able to distil what’s needed from internal briefings and ask the right questions.

    • A good understanding of audience segmentation, persona development and marketing which resonates at different stages of the customer journey.

    Digital Product Designer (12 months contract)

     

    We are looking for a Product Designer to join our team in Newmarket (12 months contract). Your core purpose will be to research, design and prototype user experiences to build a product that retailers will love. You'll work closely with Engineering, QA, and Product teams, and have the support of Senior Product Designers to help you succeed.

    Senior Engineering Manager

    Requirements

    We are looking for a Senior Engineering Manager to lead multiple engineering teams.     Senior Software Engineer C++

    Based in central Auckland, we are on the look-out for senior developers who bring a wealth of experience with them. A software development role within Serato involves working in a small agile team to help shape and implement our core products. Fully remote will be considered for the right candidate.

    To be successful in this role, you should be able to demonstrate:

    • Strong programming knowledge - including C++
    • Commercial experience with multi-threaded, high performance, application development
    • A degree in computer science or related field

    It would be great if you also have one or more of these:

    • Experience in audio-visual application programming

    Safety/Certification Engineer

    Description

    This is a chance to get into the early phases of an ambitious project. Are you the perfect person to set up the correct fundamentals of safety engineering and great certification principles in a ground breaking spaceplane.     Are you up for the challenge of:

    • Completing system safety engineering assessments using robust, industry best practice methodology
    • Ensuring that system design meets relevant safety engineering standards and demonstrate compliance to authorities
    • Liaising with relevant authorities
    • Managing compliance finding for relevant rules/standards to the Dawn Mk2 aircraft and beyond.

    You are exceptional in having:

    • Sound knowledge of safety engineering practices and standards
    • Experience in the development of robust safety cases and the development of safety argument
    • Experience understanding the requirements of authorities and presenting evidence effectively to meet those requirements
    • At least 2 years experience in safety or certification engineering role
    • Broad knowledge of engineering disciplines and a talent to quickly understand various systems and their implication on safety
    • Excellent communication skills and able to work with a diverse team from a range of backgrounds
    • Able to take a problem, understand and solve it independently even if the path is not clear and there is little or no precedent.
    • Thrives on pushing what is possible and breaking new ground in their technical domain

    We would love you to have:

    • A technical degree in engineering, maths or science
    • Experience in the aerospace sector particularly with remote piloted aircraft (particularly JARUS SORA or New Zealand CAR Part 102), and rocket engines
    • Experience in assessment of a diverse range of engineering systems (mechanical, electrical, software, complex electronic hardware)
    • Experience in dealing with authorities with novel technologies.
    • Eligible to be a Chartered Professional Engineer or equivalent with an internationally recognised Engineering Professional body.

    Software Quality Assurance and Tester

    Description

    Want to play a key role in software development and the software life cycle of a spaceplane? Software quality and safety is vital for UAV's to become an integral part of aviation. Currently, there are very few guidelines for UAV software, so in this role you would be working on ground breaking terrain and have to navigate your way through. In addition to defining, you will be responsible for implementing this process and building up a framework, i.e. automatic testing frame-works and quality checks. The spaceplane software team is young, small, growing fast and we are looking for people that can grow with us. If you want a smooth and routine role; this role is not the one. However, if you looking for a highly dynamic and exciting role, with a lot of challenges and opportunity we would love to hear from you! We believe in giving you the tools to get your job done, then getting out of your way.

    What you will do

    • Role modelling, setting standards and best practice for software development in the software team.
    • Implementing unit-testing and integration testing frame-works.
    • Participate in review of source code changes and ensure all changes meet company coding standards.
    • Working in, and helping build, a high-performance team of software engineers
    • Prove quality through validation & verification of all software produced, including flight model testing, unit test, CI-CD

    Requirements

    What you need

    • Knowledge of high criticality software and relevant tooling and processes common in regulated industries (e.g., DO-178/C, MISRA/AUTOSAR, etc.)
    • Experience with C++14 or newer, as applied in low-level s/w (interacting with RTOS on embedded system) or high-level s/w (Qt5 application with complex user interface)
    • Demonstrated success setting up and working with unit-testing and system integration frameworks.
    • Demonstrated success working in a dynamic environment with multiple priorities.

    What would be useful

    • Exposure to Docker, Git, CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices
    • Experience developing safety critical software for autonomous vehicles, such as satellites or UAV's.

    What educations, experience & qualification will be necessary

    • Relevant domain knowledge (aerospace, aviation or other high-reliability industry)
    • 3+ years relevant experience
    • Bachelor’s degree, or higher, in Electrical Engineering/Computer Science, or the equivalent in experience and evidence of exceptional ability.

    • Developing DevOps best practices and roadmaps for development teams so our developers and testers can focus on delivery instead of builds.

    Junior Farm Research & Development Specialist

    Looking to do something that has not been done before?! Wanting to work with cutting edge technology? This role is not a traditional R&D role as we are pioneering the future of farming. This role is all about concise test plans, fieldwork and innovative thinking!
    You will be a part of our multidisciplinary research & development team composed of engineers, farmers, and everything in between. Our days never look the same; we find ourselves doing anything from wearing gumboots and working with the cows to sitting in our on-farm base working on the next big endeavour. We focus on designing and developing new features that our customers will be using in the day-to-day running of their farm using Halter.

      • Drawing data-based analysis, results, and learnings from research and experiments to provide input into the design and production of our products
      • Testing new and improved product features to achieve smooth deployment at our customer farms
      • Assisting in the further development in the way we train cows to understand our collar
      • Working cross-functionally with teams across the company: From Engineering to provide input into new and existing product features; to Customer Success to ensure our products are meeting and exceeding our customers’ expectations

    About the Role

    As our Lead UX Designer you will:

    • Create designs that not only deliver what is expected from the project / feature requirements, but extends beyond them by leveraging interactivity, creativity & experimentation.
    • Actively support other designers in the team through the use of peer reviews at various stages of the design process. These include planning prototype testing / ideation sessions, early lo-fi prototype walkthroughs, final design approaches and any changes to the design system and component library.

    International Logistics Planner

    An exciting role within our Logistics Team has arisen. You will be fully responsible for the day-to-day co-ordination of Oritain sample collections worldwide. This role reports to our Global Logistics Lead and works collaboratively with internal Product Managers, Sample Reception and our Laboratory Co-ordination Team as well as with external service providers around the world. Ideally, you will bring 2-3 years logistics /freight experience and having knowledge of the international courier industry will be highly advantageous. You will have experience working with software such as MS Word, MS Excel, SharePoint and Trello as well as the ability to learn Oritain’s in-house database system (full training on this will be given). This is a full-time role based at Head Office in Dunedin. Given the business operates around the globe 24/7, you will need to be flexible around working hours because there will be times when you are required to work outside normal NZ hours to ‘get the shipment uplifted.’

    Embedded Engineer

    We are looking for senior and intermediate firmware, electronics and mechatronics engineers to work on circuit hardware and firmware design for our gloves. You will be designing PCB layouts for compact, high performance and low power wireless glove electronics including haptics, tracking and logging functionality, implementing and maintaining the firmware in these modules, and working with the production process and QC team to ensure circuit reliability in production.  

    The role is ideal for someone with a Mechatronics/EE/CompSci background that is experienced with embedded systems and wireless wearable devices. You will be working in a multi-disciplinary team of software and firmware developers that are responsible for Hand Engine and interfacing with our glove hardware, controlling, configuring and calibrating the glove output and streaming fully solved hand data into animation and virtual reality environments. 

    We are a funded company of 50+ employees, with R&D/Manufacturing in NZ, and a presence in both USA and UK. 

    The responsibilities of this role will include: 

    • Working with the Product, Hardware and Software teams to define requirements for our hardware modules. 
    • Scoping and evaluating new sensing, haptic and tracking technologies for enhancing immersion. 
    • Designing and building compact wearable hardware. 
    • Actively seeking out opportunities to improve existing designs and implementations 
    • Define and build test systems to qualify new system designs 
    • Implementing proprietary algorithms and hardware interfaces in firmware. 
    • Working with the Production and QC teams to ensure your hardware is robust and reliable.  
    • Work with the Hardware team to create insight into physical product design. 

     

    A successful applicant will have:

    Data Engineer

    What you’ll be doing:

     

    You will be working as a key member of our Data team, supporting our engineering product teams looking after:

     

    • Supersonic: our ordering platform including touchscreen kiosk, and contactless ordering experiences
    • Eyecue: our computer vision customer journey system aimed at improving a customers’ on-site experience from start to end

     

    Fingermark does have other products and teams that will also require data expertise, and the role will be heavily involved in helping to define the data solutions for them as well.

     

    Fingermark is currently in the midst of re-architecting our data pipelines and introducing new technologies to enable and enhance scalability and security, as well as ensure functions on the data, such as analytics, can happen at speed and with ease.

     

    The role will involve:

     

    • Helping with the re-architecture, maintaining and enhancing existing data pipelines and building new ones
    • Handling migration of data and functions, including the introduction of automation and data engineering best practices

    We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer who knows how to build good quality, secure data pipelines and who has a strong focus on delivery and achieving great outcomes for our customers.

     

    We appreciate that candidates won’t have all of the following and that is OK. Hopefully, you will align with the majority of the following: 

     

    • Strong experience in big data environments, and understanding of both OLTP and OLAP requirements, as well as establishing real-time and non-real-time flows
    • Strong experience in AWS, especially services such as Lambda, SQS, S3, RedShift, RDS, and Kinesis, amongst others
    • A good understanding of AWS architecture best practices and supporting services (such as VPC), as well as being able to handle multi-region deployments
    • Strong experience in ETL, preferably with DBT
    • Experience with relational and NoSQL databases, especially PostgreSQL (RDS/Aurora), RedShift and NoSQL data stores such as MongoDB
    • Experience with container-based deployments, such as Docker or Kubernetes
    • Experience in security best practices and implementations
    • Experience with at least one major language such as Python or Java
    • Ability to work effectively as part of a team, and help foster a collaborative, well-balanced team environment
    • Appreciation of measures of success such as outcomes, KPIs etc

    Due to an internal promotion, we are looking for an Assistant Accountant to support our teams in Australia, New Zealand and around the world.

    You will be based in Auckland and able to come in to the office 2-3 days a week.

     

    What will you be doing?

    The primary focus of the role
