Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) Lead

Our tech stack

The front end is a React app built with TypeScript. We use Apollo to consume our internal API.

The back end is a GraphQL API built with the latest version of .NET, with an RDS Postgres database.

The whole thing is hosted in containers on AWS, managed with terraform, deployed with BuildKite and monitored in DataDog.

Ideally, you will have good experience in 1 or more of these technologies. And a passion for all things SRE related.

First AML are ISO-27001 certified and run Penetration tests quarterly, so experience with compliance programs and security would definitely be an advantage (but if you don’t know about that stuff it’s all good, we can also help you learn!)

  • Managing all software accounts for the organisation with robust recording, spend forecasting and review processes
  • Ensuring seamless operation of physical ICT infrastructure including; wireless access points, switched routers, firewalls, VPN’s, internet connectivity, computers, video conferencing, hardware, printers
  • Triaging and resolving service desk requests for staff
  • Managing hardware inventory, distribution and leased asset management, including equipment procurement for new starters
  • Owning the relationship with First AML’s external IT Support company
  • Providing guidance to staff and contractors on how to use internal systems and equipment
  • Onboarding new staff members to introducing them to our procedures and systems
  • Technically onboarding and offboarding staff members

Our Sales Development Representative (SDR):
